What is all-weather racing?
All-Weather racing is flat racing run on a synthetic surface; Fibresand, Polytrack or Tapeta.
How many categories are there in the All-Weather Championships?
There are 6 categories in the All-Weather Championships; 3 Year Old, Sprint, Mile, Marathon, Fillies & Mares, Middle Distance.
When do the Championships start/finish?
Season 11 of the All-Weather Championships start on Tuesday 17th October 2023 at Newcastle and run until Good Friday, 29th March 2024, with Finals Day also taking place at Newcastle, alongside the All-Weather Vase fixture at Lingfield Park and racing at Chelmsford City on that day.
At which course are the All-Weather Championships held?
The All-Weather Championships take place at the six All-Weather tracks in the UK; Kempton Park, Lingfield Park Resort, Newcastle, Wolverhampton, Southwell and Chelmsford City. Kempton Park is owned and run by The Jockey Club. Lingfield Park, Newcastle, Wolverhampton and Southwell are owned and run by Arena Racing Company. Chelmsford City is an independent racecourse.
How much are tickets to an All-Weather Championships raceday?
The ticket costs vary at each racecourse. Please visit the individual racecourse websites for ticket pricing information.
